Hitler and the Nazi Party promised that they would return Germany to its former strength, following their humiliation after World War 1.
 
 
The Nazi party  promised that they would solve Germany’s economic problems and put an end to the unemployment crisis.   
 
 
The Nazi party promised that they would put an end to the Communist threat.
 


The Nazi Party offered the country strong leadership at a time of great crisis.

The Nazi party's racist and antisemitic beliefs were always made clear to the public
 

 
Despite all of these promises, the Nazi Party never managed to secure over 50% of the German people’s votes. 
 


By 1932, however, the Nazi party did have more seats in the Reichstag (German Parliament) than any other party.
