After Hitler and the Nazi party came to power in Germany in 1933, laws were introduced to classify the people of Germany into different racial groups.
In the following activity you will see a chart called Purpose of the Racial Laws. In the left hand column there is a list of the titles of some of these laws. In the right hand column, there is a description of the purpose of these laws. The titles and their purpose are in the wrong order.
Task One
With a partner, try to match the title of the law with its purpose. This is difficult to do so don’t worry if you can’t match all of them. Do as many as you can.
