The Law for the Restoration of the Professional Civil Service - April 1933

To force all Jews out of public employment (an exception was made of Jews who had served in the German army in World War)

The Law Regarding  the Slaughter of animals according to Jewish religious laws – April 1933

To prevent Jews from observing their religious customs.

The Law regarding Admission of Doctors to Service for the National Health Insurance - April 1933

To prevent Jews from entering medical practice in the health service

The Law Regarding the Overcrowding of German Schools and Schools of Higher Education – April 1933

To establish a quota of Jewish children allowed in state run schools.

The Law Regarding the Revocation of Naturalization and Annulment of German Citizenship – July 1933

To remove citizenship rights from Jewish immigrants from Poland

 

The Law for the protection of German Blood and Honour – September 1935

To define ‘Aryans’, ‘Jews’ and ‘Mixed Race’ individuals.  To forbid marriage and sex between Jews and Aryans.  To forbid Jews to fly the Nazi flag

The Income Tax Law – February 1939

To give tax advantages to Aryans.

 

The Law for the Reduction of Unemployment – June 1933

To offer money to German Aryans to marry and have children.

The State Citizenship Law – September 1935

To give full citizenship to Aryans.  To remove full citizenship from German Jews making them ‘subjects’ of the state.

The Homestead Law – September 1933

To prevent Jews from owning land in Germany.

The Law Regarding Editors – October 1933

To prevent Jews from editing newspapers

The Law Against Dangerous and Habitual Criminals – November 1933

To allow the authorities to arrest and sterilise by castration male criminals who were considered to have inherited their criminality.  [This included tramps, beggars and the ‘work shy’]

The Law for the Prevention of Hereditarily Diseased Progeny – June 1935

To allow the state to perform compulsory abortions on women (up to 6 months of pregnancy) who they decided might inherit “defects”.

The Law for the Protection of the Hereditary Health of the German People – October 1935

To register the racial characteristics of the German people.  Certificates were issued saying if they were ‘fit’ to marry.  Certificates were not issued if the health authority decided the person had a ‘hereditary disease’ [including alcoholism], was an ‘alien’ [ie. non-Aryan] or had a sexually transmitted disease.
